Rules on Special Education for Tetraalkyl Lead, etc., Work

Ministry of Labour Public Notification No.125 of September 30, 1972

Based on the provision of paragraph (2) of Article 21 of the Ordinance on Prevention of Tetraalkyl Lead Poisoning (Ministry of Labour Ordinance No.38 of 1972), the Rules on Special Education for Tetraalkyl Lead, etc., Work and shall be applied from October 1, 1972.

  • The special education pursuant to the provision of paragraph (1) of Article 21 of the Ordinance on Prevention of Tetraalkyl Lead Poisoning shall be conducted by the academic education,and be conducted as regard to each scope listed in the middle column of the following table for not less than the number of hours listed in the right column of the same table corresponding to the subject listed in the left column in the same table.

    Toxicity of tetraalkyl lead Characteristics of tetraalkyl lead, pathology and symptoms of tetraalkyl lead poisoning 1 hour
    Work methods Methods of handling drums and equipment pertaining to tetraalkyl lead work 1 hour
    Use of personal protective equipment Types, performance, and use of personal protective equipment for tetraalkyl lead operation 1 hour
    Methods of maintaining cleanliness, such as body washing Methods washing body and personal protective equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of body, etc. 1 hour
    Methods of evacuation and first aid treatment in case of accidents Details of signals and alarms, evacuation points, use of antidotes, anti-dispersal agents, and mending agents 1 hour
    Other necessary matters relevant to prevention of tetraalkyl lead poisoning Relevant Articles of the Industrial Safety and Health Act (Act No.57 of 1972), the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Act (Cabinet Order No.318 of 1972), the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (Ministry of Labour Ordinance No.32 of 1972), and the Ordinance on Prevention of Tetraalkyl Lead Poisoning, necessary matters regarding the relevant operations in order to prevent tetraalkyl lead poisoning 1 hour
