The information collected by the JICOSH , the former international center of JISHA, is available here, though it has not been updated:
Since the National Health and Safety Week in Korea has started in 1968, the 50th Korea National Safety and Health Week this year was held in Korea from July 3rd to July 7th 2017. This Korean National Occupational Safety and Health Week has been operated by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA). This Korean National Occupational Safety and Health Week is also the 50th milestone, and there was a request from the KOSHA for a celebration video message of JISHA.
For this reason, JISHA sent a celebration video message of Mr. Yamaki, the president of JISHA for the 50th Korea National Health and Safety Week to the President of KOSHA.
The video message of the president Mr. Yamaki is as follows.
Annyeonghasimnikka ("Hello" in Korean language)
Mr. Lee, Young Soon, President of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, distinguished guests and participants, I, Nobuyuki Yamaki, President of Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association, would like to express my sincere congratulations for the successful opening of the 50th Korea National Safety and Health Week.
I think the success owes efforts of Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor, KOSHA and all stakeholders.
In my understanding, all of the administration, management and workers are involved in enhancing occupational safety and health in Korea.
I hope KOSHA, in conjunction with JISHA, will continue to take initiative to eradicate industrial accidents.
Once again, congratulations and keep safety first!
