A worker sprained his ankle while climbing down from a hydraulic shovel during a radiator removal project.

A worker tried to climb down from the counterweight of the rear end of a hydraulic shovel during a radiator removal project. He placed his right leg on the side ladder at the rear, and grabbed the guard attachment lug with his right hand. When his left foot hit the ground in an uneven spot, he fell and sprained his left ankle.

Corrective Action
