When the outriggers were being stowed, a vehicle shifted and crushed a worker's lower body.

A worker stopped his service truck on the right side of a ripper attachment bracket to repair it. After the disassembled bracket had been loaded using a crane, the worker began to stow the outriggers. The body of the vehicle shifted, and the worker's lower body was crushed between the vehicle and the outrigger. His pelvic bone was injured.

Corrective Action
1. Carefully check the side brake when beginning work, and pull it securely tight when stopping.
2. Ensure chock blocks are put in place for vehicles carrying an attached crane.
3. Check the safety of the ground of the work site.
