What kind of accident is about to happen?
To remove a steel plate placed in a rice paddy for construction work, workers attached a wire rope to the hanging hook of the bucket of a drag shovel and pulled it.
Can you predict what's about to happen?

Look what happened!

When the vehicle pulled out the plate and rotated to the left, the drag shovel tipped over, pinning the operator beneath it.

Tips for preventing similar accidents
1. Use a vehicle rated for the work being done, such as a mobile crane or hydraulic shovel with a crane attachment. Work should also only be performed by certified personnel.
2. After hanging a load, rotate the arm slowly to keep the vehicle from becoming unstable.
