Metal chip gets in worker's eye and causes a cut.
When a worker hammered the head of a chisel applied to a bearing on the rear axle of lift truck, a splinter went flying, stuck in one of his eyes and caused a cut.



Corrective Action
1. Use an appropriate tool like a bearing puller.
2. When hitting an object with a hammer, put a seat of copper, brass or wood on top of the object and hit it.
