A worker hit his head on the arm of a crane when lifting his head while standing in the bed of a truck.

A worker was cleaning up the bed of a four-ton truck and was putting away a tarp that had been piled at the front of the truck bed. He took three steps forward from the rear and raised his head, hitting it on the frame of a crane boom and injuring his forehead.



Corrective Action
1. Always wear a protective helmet while working.
2. Strive to enhance the safety awareness of leaders and supervisors.
