Appended Table 2 Radiation work (related to Article 6, 21 and 22)
  • (1) The work using X-ray apparatuses or inspecting the said apparatuses from which X-rays are being generated
  • (2) The work using a cyclotron, betatron and other accelerators or inspecting the said apparatuses from which the ionizing radiation (meaning alpha rays, deuteron rays, proton rays, beta rays, electron rays, neutron rays, gamma rays and X-rays) are being generated
  • (3) The work removing gases from X-ray tubes or kenotron or inspecting the said apparatuses from which X-rays are being generated
  • (4) The work handling the apparatus equipped with radioactive substances prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare
  • (5) The work handling radioactive substances set forth in the preceding item, or the materials contaminated with these radioactive substances
  • (6) The work operating a nuclear reactor
  • (7) The work mining for nuclear source substances (meaning the nuclear source substances prescribed in the item (iii) of Article 3 of the Atomic Energy Basic Act (Act No. 186, 1955) in pits
