(4) Accident Frequency Rates by Scale of Workplace
  Accident Frequency rates by scale of workplace in manufacturing industries taken separately and for all industries in general show that the smaller the workplace, the higher the accident frequency rate. This trend is most pronounced in manufacturing industries where the accident frequency rate at workplaces with a workforce of 100 to 299 is about 6 times higher than at workplaces with 1,000 or more workers.
