(6) Deaths and Injuries by Cause of Accident

In the manufacturing industry, the most common cause of occupational accidents
was "power-driven machinery in general," followed by "temporary
facilities, buildings, structures, etc." and "materials."
The percentage of accidents caused by "power-driven machinery in general"
and "materials" was higher than the all-industry average. In
manufacturing, the percentage of deaths caused by "power-driven carriers,"
"power driven machinery in general" and "power-driven cranes,
etc." was high. |
