What kind of accident is about to happen?
Workers are trying to unload a drag shovel from the bed of a two-ton truck that is resting at a construction site location that has a weak foundation.
Two aluminum gangplanks have been placed between the ground and the truck bed.
Can you predict what's about to happen?

Look what happened!
The gangplanks suddenly fell off the truck, the hydraulic shovel fell over, and the operator was pinned beneath it.

Tips for preventing similar accidents
1. Load and unload all heavy machinery on flat, solid surfaces.
2. When using gangplanks, be sure that they are the proper width and strength for the purpose for which they are being used. Gangplanks should also be placed securely at an appropriate incline.
