What kind of accident is about to happen?
Workers are loading wet concrete into the bucket of a drag shovel from the chute of a cement truck. One of the workers is standing on the step and scraping out the concrete as it comes down the chute. The operator of the drag shovel is watching concrete coming out of the truck and has stepped out of the operator's seat.
Can you predict what's about to happen?

Look what happened!
When the operator of the drag shovel sat back down, the hem of his jacket got caught on a lever. This caused the shovel to suddenly swing to the right, crushing the other worker between the arm of the drag shovel and the cement truck.

Tips for preventing similar accidents
1. When standing up from the operator's seat, take precautionary measures, such as setting the lever lock, to ensure that the machine will not malfunction.
2. Operators should wear proper clothing suitable for operating machinery.
3. When a worker is within the operating range of a machine, assign someone to serve as a guide, and use that person to guide the machine.
