A hydraulic shovel engine was being offloaded from a truck by a crane. While a worker was climbing down from the truck bed after performing the slinging work, the crane operator hoisted the crane, causing the off-centered load to swing toward the worker and crush the hand he had placed on the corner of the engine frame.
