A worker's finger was crushed between a block and a truck rail while he was adjusting a load.
A worker was adjusting a load after it had been raised onto a truck bed.
When he turned his body after lifting the block, it slipped from the front of his hands and started to fall. He bent over while trying to adjust his grip, but could not do it in time, and crushed his fingers between the block and the truck rail.

Corrective Action
1. Do not lift objects with your hands only. Be sure to carry them with your whole body.
2. Maintain your concentration until you have finished a job.
