Notes

1. In addition to the activities shown above in the table, JISHA implements some activities to assist the Japanese Government's ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects; about which please refer to item four(4) below.
2. Entrusted by the Japanese government, JISHA sent an expert as a guest speaker to a workshop held by the Laos government in Laos late July, 2008. The workshop focused on the management of chemical substances and safety standards for operating machinery.
3. At the beginning of September, 2008, JISHA organized a seminar for five working days for some ASEAN countries and Hong Kong under the title of OSHMS and Construction Safety.
4. Entrusted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for the whole of October, almost every year. JISHA conducted the Group Training Course on Industrial Safety and Health Policy, where one or two government officials or an OSH expert of a semi-government organization attended from each of the five participating countries.
5. JICA Project Appraisal
   Upon request from JICA, for the purpose of appraising the ODA Project on Scientific and technological Capacity Building for Work safety in China, JISHA sent an expert to the country late October, 2008, as a member of the JICA intermediate project appraisal team.
6. Upon request from the secretariat, JISHA sent an expert to China late November, 2008, to participate in the fourth China International Forum on Work Safety.
7. Entrusted by the Japanese government for the purpose of assisting ASEAN countries in OSH, JISHA organized a seminar for four working days early December, 2008, by inviting government officials and/or OSH experts of private organizations from ASEAN countries. Its two main topics were: what kind of assistance or measures the government and the OSH organizations are providing for SMEs(topic 1), and what types of employment have been emerging accompanying current structural changes in employment or subcontract work in specific industries like construction(topic 2).
8. Entrusted by the JICA, Osaka Occupational Health Service Center of JISHA organized a Group Training Course on Working Environment Control for Occupational Disease Prevention for almost two whole months in Osaka.For the action plan developed by a Mongolian Trainee, click here titled "Definition of radiographic patterns of the silicosis in Mongolia according to the ILO International classification"
9. At the beginning of July, 2009, JISHA organized a seminar for five working days under the title of the OSHMS in Japan for participants from ten countries/regions.
10. Upon commission by the Japanese government, JISHA organized a workshop early December on asbestos for exchanging information, technical knowledge and experience by inviting government officials and OSH experts of government-affiliated organizations from ASEAN countries, China and Korea.

12. Upon commission by the Japanese government, in the beginning of January, 2011, JISHA organized a workshop on Risk Assessment for exchanging information, technical knowledge and experience by inviting government officials and OSH experts from ASEAN countries, China and Korea.
13. JISHA has organized a seminar for five working days under the title of the Management of Chemical Hazard & OSHMS, etc. in Japan for participants mainly OSH associations from 5-10 countries/regions.
14. JISHA has cooperated to JICA Project on Capacity Building for Occupational Health in China for SAWS (the State Administration of Work Safety) and Center for Disease Control (CDC), China　(March 2011 - March 2016 (5 years)).
15. JISHA has cooperated to JICA Project on Strengthening the Capacity for Occupational Safety and Health for Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Iraq　(October 2016 - October 2019 (3 years)).
16. JISHA conducts not only "OSH Training in Japan' for local stuff of oversea Japanese companies" but also "Dispatching OSH expert to provide advice for the companies" by "Sakura project".
17. JISHA has started OSH Partnership Seminar including such as the Zero accident movement & OSHMS in oversea host countries for upgrading OSH abilities of lecturers of Overseas OSH Associations since 2016 instead of No.13 activities.
18. JISHA has cooperated to JICA Project for Capacity Development of Vocational Training Corporation in the Field of Occupational Safety and Health, Jordan　(March 2017 - January 2021 (4 years)).
19. JISHA has coordinated OSH workshop for international companies for upgrading OSH status of their overseas affiliated companies.
20. Upon commission by the Japanese government, JISHA has coordinated Japan-China OSH Symposium participated by both Japanese and Chinese governments in China or Japan.
21. JISHA has dispatched representatives to OSH Convention of Industrial Safety and Health Association Taiwan （ISHA） according to ISHA's invitation.
22. APOSHO has established as an international body in 1985 to promote activities and exchange information in the field of safety and health in the Asia-Pacific region, the Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organization (APOSHO) is composed of non-profit, professional occupational safety and health organizations.
