30. Additional Positions
|

|
アメリカ合衆国法典第5巻第5108節(c)を、以下の通り修正する。
|
Section 5108(c) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by -
|
|||||
|
(1) 文節(8)の最後の「and」を削除し、
|
(1) striking out the word "and" at the end of paragraph (8); |
|||||
|
(2) 文節(9)の最後のピリオドを削除し、代わりにセミコロンと「and」を挿入する。
|
(2) striking out the period at the end of paragraph (9) and inserting in lieu thereof a semicolon and the word "and"; and
|
|||||
|
(3) 文節(9)の直後に以下の新しい文節を挿入する。 |
(3) by adding immediately after paragraph
(9) the following new paragraph: |

| 「(10)(A) 労働長官は本章に規定する基準、手続きに従い、1970年労働安全衛生法に基づくその任務を遂行するため、労働省に25の職務（GS-16、17、18）を新設することができる。 | (10)(A) the Secretary of Labor, subject to the standards and procedures prescribed by this chapter, may place an additional twenty-five positions in the Department of Labor in GS-16, 17, and 18 for the purposes of carrying out his responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970; | |||||
| (B) 労働安全衛生審査委員会は本章に規定する基準、手続きに従い、1970年労働安全衛生法に基づくその任務を遂行するため、10の職務（GS-16、17、18）を新設することができる。」 | (B) the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, subject to the standards and procedures prescribed by this chapter, may place ten positions in GS-16, 17, and 18 in carrying out its functions under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. | |||||
